Funny side of Swami Vivekananda

. 😃 When Swami Vivekanand was studying law at the University College, London, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely. One day, Mr. Peters was having lunch at the dining room when vivekananda came along with his tray and sat next to the professor. The professor said, "Mr Vivekanand , you do not understand. A pig and a bird do not sit together to eat." Vivekanandji looked at him as a parent would a rude child and calmly replied, "You do not worry professor. I'll fly away," and he went and sat at another table. Mr. Peters,  reddened with rage, decided to take revenge. The next day in Class he posed the following question: "Mr.Vivekanand , if you were walking down the street and found a package, and within was a bag of wisdom and another bag with money, which one would you take ?" Without hesitating, Vivekanandji responded, "The one with the money, of course." Mr. Peters , smiling sarcastically ...

Buddhadharma

"The Buddha very clearly said that you feel reality arising and passing away. You may be experiencing a very solidified pain or pressure. It has arisen and it seems to stay for some time, but sooner or later, it passes away. It is not eternal; it is not going to stay forever. As it arises, so it passes away. "This means that when one feels a period where the gross sensation seems to stay, actually there is no such period. A vibration is there—arising and passing, arising and passing. Within that, there are very important stages of the technique. The first stage is uppadavaya—arising separately, passing separately. The second stage is bhanga, or dissolving. As it arises, so it passes away. It doesn't stay. It's arising and passing, arising and passing. "This makes you understand the entire mind-matter phenomenon and how it works. Everywhere there is arising and passing, arising and passing, arising and passing. You come to the eye sense door, or ear sense door, or...

Reach Your Goal

A small story  - In China, one of the poor little boy had a doubt, why he has born in poor and needy house & why his destiny defined such a way.  Now what to do…!  He went to one guru and questioned the same ..! The Guru smiled and asked his followers to bring 3 pots having full water & it should have 3 different type of water. 1) Clyster Clean water 2) Dirty Water  3) Too Muddy water from the Drainage. Here Destiny is that, the same as water from the different places.   But the water want to evaporate and want to touch the sky its required fire. So, the Guru asked them to put on fire…! 1) First pot took some time to evaporate 2) Second pot some more time to evaporate 3) Third pot took some more extra time to evaporate. Here, the place where you were born or stand is not important,  most important is that  where you want to go and  how much fire do you have. Consequently, A Added Extra Stretch may possibly requ...

Thoughts Vs Feelings

Experts estimate that the mind thinks between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That’s an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts per hour.  You can not control your thoughts easily, but you can control your feelings & emotions...! Logic : Thoughts becomes belief / Feelings / emotions These belief / Feelings / emotions becomes actual

Think Big & Dream Big...!

Think Big & Dream Big...! Just an idea to share, When Bill Gates was in a school when he first saw a computer.  He was excited & want to do something, learn something, play with it.  Those days a computer was a big financial thing. 1) A typical middle class  attitude : would have thought that its a very precious thing & you should not touch until you grown-up.  Here parents keep on saying study, work hard etc., The ultimate goal would be here to get a "safe & secure job" . I.e., A best labor, Best technicians, Best software or hardware job...! Here ends the matter. 2) Bill Gates Parents  attitude  : Might be they would have encouraged him to explore the new costly machine fearlessly.  Here they would have encouraged him to dream big & think big approach.  The rest is history.  No end forever...! Creation believes in a continuous evolution

LESSON FOR PARENTS

LESSON FOR PARENTS In two independent houses, separated by a compound two people were living, in one a retired person and in the other a techie. They had planted identical saplings on either sides of the compound. The techie used to give lot of water and manure to the plants. The retired, just small quantity of water and little manure. The techies plant grew into lush green, leafy robust plant. The retired person's plant was a near normal but much luxuriant than his neighbor's. One night there was a heavy rain with gusty wind. Next morning both came out to see the fate of the plants. To techie's surprise his plant had got uprooted where as his neighbor's was unharmed. Techie asks the retired as why his plant was uprooted despite such a good care where as the neighbor had hardly cared. The retired person's answer should be a lesson for all of us. *Look young man, you had supplied every thing a plant would need,in abundance and the plant did not have to go...
